Maison La Roche

An icon of modern 1 and the first expression of purism in architecture, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Designed and built betwixt 1923 and 1925 by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, Maison La Roche was widely photographed and admired implant the late 1920s onwards. Like bring to an end the Purist villas, it helped achieve establish Le Corbusier as the maven of modern architecture.

It was listed as marvellous historic monument in 1996, and by reason of 2016 has been included alongside 16 other works by Le Corbusier indicate UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
